At VT Dinners, we believe in the power of great food to bring people together, even on the busiest days. We’re passionate about making local food available, affordable, and easy year-round. We buy top-quality ingredients from local farms to turn into delicious, healthy frozen meals. We’re a small, scrappy, startup that’s poised to make big waves in the stodgy world of the frozen aisle. That’s where you come in.
We’ve got the business savvy, the marketing smarts, a handful of great recipes, kitchen space, and six months of growing sales... now we need a chef to help us keep making it all happen.

If you’re a go-getter, looking to run the show in the kitchen, ride herd on two assistants and turn out a serious quantity of great frozen meals, we want to hear from you. Position starts part time in August, with scheduling flexibility for the right person, and lots of room for growth.
You don’t need to be a kitchen ninja when you start, just willing to show up on time, follow directions, and work hard/smart/fast to make great food. You’ll be dishwasher, sous chef, quality control, and chief packaging officer all rolled into one. Along the way it’s pretty much inevitable you’ll learn a whole lot, have a good time, and (we hope) take pride in helping bring an amazing menu to the hungry public.
